From the moment we drove up to The Hollor we knew we were in a special place. The scenery is spectacular! The cabin is beautiful and had everything needed for our stay. Quiet, peaceful and breezy on the porch! Our reservation was for two nights; however, we enjoyed the cabin so much we stayed five! Loved meeting Dan and Starr and the sweet little dachshund. Even met a special neighbor down the road. Feels like we are on holy ground!

We chose to stay at The Hollor based on the recommendation of my parents. We were not disappointed and were very surprised in many ways. This is a charming and rustic little getaway furnished with all the modern amenities you could ever need. We enjoyed some time relaxing on the deck by the chimenea, and breakfast on the deck overlooking the beautiful scenery. Even though you feel like you're in the middle of nowhere, you're actually just minutes from West Jefferson as well as many wonderful outdoor adventures. During our stay we took a tubing trip down the New River and went for a hike at Elk Knob State Park.
The best part about our stay at The Hollor were our hosts. Dan and Starr went above and beyond, anticipating any need for supplies or information that we had. They are wonderful people who were a joy to talk with. We very much look forward to our next stay at The Hollor!
